PROJECT THRONE

Senior Game Designer, Gumi Canada

Gumi, Canada was a short stint since the studio only lasted about a year and a half. Unfortunately the game we were developing had to cancel when the studio was shut down by the parent company. The game was code-named "Project Throne" and it was shaping up to be a pretty cool little game for IOS and Android.

I was a game designer with primary responsibilities focusing on level design, writing, and combat

  • Map and quest designs and scripting

  • Designed world map gameplay that balanced strategy with narrative

  • Wrote story, dialogue, character personalities, and backgrounds

  • Designed character attributes, skills, and spells

  • Helped to design the combat system, and tune and balance the heroes

  • Designed the loot system and owned the usage of it in game
